ILFORD ORTHO PLUS is an orthochromatic black and white film that offers exceptional photocopying capabilities for negatives. This film boasts fine grain and sharpness, making it a great choice for landscape photography. Its unique sensitivity to blue and green lights allows for safe handling in deep red safelight conditions during processing and inspection. Additionally, its lack of red sensitivity results in darker reds and oranges with increased contrast compared to other panchromatic films. ILFORD ORTHO PLUS is also DX coded for ISO 80 and has a manual ISO setting of 40 for tungsten lighting. It can be processed as standard with development times listed in the technical data sheet or on the film cartons. Please refrain from using an amber safelight, as this can lead to fogging.
